Trust me. I know just how many opportunities you come across on the internet every day. Who should you believe? What’s real? What’s legitimate?
Here are some guidelines that will help you when trying to find the right opportunity for you.
1. Is it free to join? We’ve all heard the saying: “You get what you pay for.” Well, if you are paying nothing, consider what you may be getting in return.
There are many people who feel that if they have to spend money to start an online business, then it’s a scam. I can’t say I’ve ever really understood that mentality.
Let’s pretend we are talking about a traditional offline business. What business do you know of that requires no capital to start?

I’m not saying you should throw your money at anyone who wants to take it, but be prepared that you are going to have to invest some money and that certainly doesn’t mean it’s not legitimate. In fact, it’s quite the opposite.
2. Are there promises of tens of thousands of dollars in less than 30 days with hardly any work involved? Big red flag here. First of all, it’s rare to come off the street and be a success in 30 days.
This industry does provide a great platform to make a very lucrative income in a relatively short period of time. However, be prepared for it to take longer than 30 days to be able to quit your job, and you will actually have to do work.
3. Don’t be afraid if you have to fill out an application. You should welcome this one. It means that the particular opportunity you are interested in doesn’t just allow “anyone” into their program.
This is good for you, so don’t shun it. This means they are serious entrepreneurs looking for qualified prospects, and this will help ensure you will attract more qualified consultants in the future onto your team.
